Bimini Island - How to Get Here

Closer than you think
The island of Bimini is less than 50 miles from south Florida and there are numerous ways to get here quickly and easily. Before you know it you’ll have a frosty cold Kalik in your hands.

Customs & Immigration Office onsite!
We are the only resort on the island to have our own Customs & Immigration Office onsite. This makes clearing in at Bimini Sands fast and convenient.

By plane
Continental Airlines flies scheduled service out of Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. For charter service contact Bimini Island Air (BIA) which flies out of Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport. Flights are only about 20-25 minutes.

By private boat
Many visitors arrive on their own boat. And at less than 50 miles from Miami, you don’t need a megayacht. Boats as small as 20-feet regularly make the trip over.
